Embarrassed to show skin PDF Print E-mail

I recently moved to FL which caused me to have severe cases of allergies. I even went to a dermatologist who put it bluntly that I am allergic to FL. Anyhow, I get these gross skin irritation bumps all over my chest. Sometimes they get on my shoulders and back, but mainly they are around my breasts. I never show any cleavage for this reason because I am embarrassed of the way I look. I constantly wear shirts that cover all of my chest, back and shoulders. I am afraid someone will judge me and not understand.

I feel even more uncomfortable when I am with my partner and during intimacy, they insist having my shirt off. I have tried every product imaginable to reduce the amount of irritation bumps on my chest, but nothing seems to work. The irritation bumps almost look like ingrown hairs, how disgusting! I never found anyone that I was close to, male or female that, didn't understand my embarrassing skin problem, but I am still insecure about it.  What should I do?skin-problem

I moved to Ft. Lauderdale and within weeks I broke out in red bumps all over my chest and shoulders. The ONLY thing that got rid of them was a weekly scrubs until very pink, then neosporine. It took about three weeks and they never came back. I hope it works for you. It was some mold in the air, a fungus I think, it has been awhile. I also did see a dermatologist and I suggest you do the same thing. If you stopped eating something it could make it go away too. Sorry it was so long ago I can't remember the name.

You need to go to a board certified dermatologist. My son had the same problem.

If your dermatologist can't fix the problem then maybe try an allergist. I suggest seeing a homeopath doctor if nothing else works. I wish for you to find a solution to your skin problem. Take care.
