Hello, Just want to get this out there!

 

My ex-boyfriend Randy and I recently got back together. 

I poured my heart out to him regarding major surgery I was going to have asking for his support and if he would be there for me. He said, Yes Honey. I will be there for you!

Well, after seeing him (I traveled long distance) my surgery was approaching. I sent him a nice card and asked if he could commit. I asked him to please give me more attention, calls, mail, etc. Just after surgery, we spoke once and he signed a "Get Well" card for me, as well as his roommates.

I still love him so very much. I'm being strong…..somewhat. And I'm not going to call him.

Your boyfriend does not seem like a reliable person. If you can't count on him being there for you after you go through surgery, most likely he won't be around too long. Don't bother calling him, he has proven himself to you in this situation. Move on sweetie.
